Here is a run down of the last 14 days of my so called life (in no particular order)
- My computer died and I lost everything on it except about 6 pieces of music and a start to an article. I lost the first chapter of my book, 7 pages worth of brainstorming material and about 25 articles (unpublished).
- I entered a talent contest and won second prize, 2000US dollars.
- I moved to the other side of China and I love my job but hate the weather and miss my dog.
-I broke a friendship with someone I had been friends with for five years and I feel 20 pounds lighter...almost anorexic actually.
-I caught my first summer flu just when we had one more month to rap up before summer was done.
-I am single with no possible candidates around for miles on end for the first time in 25 years and I am very happy with that.
- No clubs, no bars, no malls just mountains and fishing streams with fishermen in straw hats and I am not yet delirious with inactivity, instead I have an indoor swimming pool, a running track and a weight room to occupy myself plus off cours JU:)
-I have been asked to sing a Chinese song for Teacher's day on Friday... a big deal.
- I start Chinese classes on Friday and the guy is doing it for free!
-My new apartment is amazing, dark antiquey heavy furniture and Samsung implements all new, all mine, plus 2 balconies...I don't mean to brag buut...
- I love life, am unsure about tomorrow but I am ok about that too.
-I am very happy to be back on line, hope to resume getting to know you guys and staying out of virtual trouble! I did miss you all:) especially Kingbee and Texas Wahine, I hope you are still here...
